WebDec 8, 2016 · If it's not a permission problem: Check if Link inheritance is activated. If so the "edit links" button won't show up and you won't be able to edit the links. You can do it on the parent site though. Here are some more reasons that buttons are not visible: You have the screen size reduced which makes the ribbon smaller than full size The site or page is highly customized or built for your organization Why don't I see the ribbon at all?
