Web28 May 2016 · PA Soft worked perfectly with the 20-pin port in my 2003 525iT. However, in order to get it to work with my 2000 528iT, I had to jump pins 7 & 8 in the PA Soft adapter and use a 20-pin to 16-pin adapter to connect to the port under hood.
