Rick’s story is one of hard work and dedication. Rick owned and operated a grain farm in Southeast Saskatchewan as well as spending many hours in the Oil Fields. He always worked towards his dream of someday moving to the Okanagan Valley.
In 2012, Rick fully realized his dream and relocated with his wife to the Okanagan. He started a career in Real Estate and within two short years and has achieved the Master Sales Award with Royal LePage Kelowna.
Rick understands the relocation process very well and prides himself in helping people realize their dream location, and is committed to help them every step of the way.
With 40+ years of experience in the horse industry and a family of rodeo and cowhorse competitors, Sandy along with her family own and operate the Peachland based horse boarding, training and riding lesson business, Chevallier’s Arena and 3C Tack. Sandy is a certified equine appraiser with decades of rodeo and barrel racing experience, as well as competing in open and breed shows.
A resident of the Okanagan for 28 years, she has been an active volunteer and competitor with many rodeo clubs, equine and barrel racing associations her whole life. In 1996 Sandy was named Rodeo Person of the Year for BC and in 2004 was made an honorary Gold Card Member with the BC Barrel Racing Association. In most recent years, Sandy has focused mainly on youth participation with Little Britches and High School Rodeos, and in the past has also worked hard to promote ladies events in rodeo. In 2010 Sandy was voted Director of the Year by the Student Executive of the BC High School Rodeo Association. Sandy has also been an active board member and Rodeo Director for the Peachland Riding Club, since 1990.
A Real Estate professional from 2003 to 2010, Sandy took a brief break from the business and returned in 2014 as an admin person for the successful Next Door Team at Royal Lepage and now is re-licensed again in 2016 and again working hard to help clients find their perfect home. Sandy’s dedication and attention to detail has helped many clients through the stress, emotion and decision making that is part of buying and selling of real estate. Sandy is continuously upgrading her knowledge of the business through courses, seminars and market studies.
Sharon loves to work with people and enjoys the daily changes and challenges involved in Real Estate as she provides administrative support to the team.
She was raised in Manitoba and then moved to Whitehorse, Yukon for the past 18 years before settling to the Okanagan.
She is interested in all aspects of Real Estate and worked in the mortgage industry for the past 30 years before moving to BC and joining the Next Door Team.
Sharon and her husband Austin have lived in West Kelowna for 3 years and can’t imagine living anywhere else. In her free time you will find Sharon and Austin on their Harley enjoying the open road and this beautiful Okanagan.
