WebJul 31, 2014 · Greatbows are only good for 1 / 2 shotting a mob or stunlocking. Bows normally have a higher dps but depends on your build. My alonne great bow averages about 500 dmg per shot. My hunters blackbow ~300 per shot with poison arrows. Greatbow ammunition is also more expensive so I would suggest using normal bow.
